Suzanne Lang’s taped interview about Deep Waters hits the airwaves tomorrow, Sunday, Apr 30 at 10 AM (PST) on KRCB 104.9 NPR FM.

Suzanne was well prepared with in-depth questions, although a couple of them caught me off guard. I’ll be curious to see how my answers sound. I so enjoyed our conversation, a few times I forgot it was an interview.

In the current issue of Northwest Book Lovers Andromeda Romano-Lax interviews me about my book. Andromeda is the author of five award-winning novels including The Spanish Bow (NYT’s Editors’ Choice) and Annie and the Wolves (Booklist Top 10 Historical Fiction Book of 2021) and a tri-athalonist on top of it all.

I’m writing this note at the Seattle airport with laptop propped on knees. I’m on my way to Santa Rosa, CA, where I’ll join Jim on our boat. I look forward to seeing some of you at the California book launch at Copperfield’s Books in Santa Rosa (May 4), which is the kick-off event for my first three in-store author events, and at Book Passage, Corte Madera (May 9).
After nine years in the making, I’m excited to release my memoir Deep Waters into the world. With my pub date only 3 days away, I look forward to sharing inside stories about publishing and what it’s like to do a book tour.
